Headlines: (1) Journalists from all the country gathered for a media conference at Shantivan for a Media Conference. Media experts urged media persons to work towards creating a value based society. (2) A national conference for Researchers was organised at Gyan Sarovar by SPARC , the research wing of the Brahmakumaris. It was attended by researchers from across the country. Emminent researchers expressed the view that science and spirituality are complementary to each other. (3) A new meditation center of the Brahmakumaris in Sunni, Himachal Pradesh is to be inaugurated by the Governor of the state. The Governor was appraised about the activities of the institution. (4) The Lucknow center organised a retreat on the topic " 3 D Healthcare and Happy Life Through Rajyoga Meditation". Dr Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Women and Child Welfare Minister, Govt of UP inaugurated the retreat and hailed the efforts of the Brahmakumaris. (5) A two health camp on the theme " Goodbye Diabetes" was organised in Morang ,Nepal. The camp was led by Dr Shrimant Sahu a noted Diabetologist from Mt.Abu. He termed diabetes as a terrorist which attacks the body. He stressed the importance of Rajyoga Meditation and regular exercise for staying healthy. (6) A National Conference on the topic "New Dimension To Create Harmonious Society" was organised at Gulbarg in Karnataka. It was organised by the Social Service Wing. The need for imbibing spirituality in daily life was expressed by the participants. (7) A three day retreat on the theme "Living in the eye of the storm" was organised at the Asia Retreat Center in Malaysia. B.K Charlie from Australia led the retreat and gave practical tips to face the challenges of day to day life.
