Everyone who have watched The Lunchbox will agree that it was a love story which deserved a happy ending but was denied so. Being rooted to reality (which is a rarity in Hindi films) it was forbidden love which never culminated into anything. It is this simplicity and connection that touched millions of hearts and the film brought in a change. Now method acting comes naturally to Irrfan Khan but it seems to add more authenticity to the film, Nimrat Kaur and Irrfan didn?t even meet till the scene where the actor is seen viewing her from far!
