Agar aapko prawns pasand hai yeh do recipes zaroor try karein aur baatayein ki aapko kaunsa zyaada pasand aaya! 0:00 Intro 0:06 Aloo Prawn Masala 1:22 Kadai Prawns Masala ALOO PRAWN MASALA Ingredients: 16-20 medium prawns shelled and deveined ½ tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste 1 tbsp oil 1 tbsp chopped garlic 2 medium onions chopped 3 small potatoes cut into 1 cm cubes 1 medium tomato chopped 2-3 green chillies chopped ½ tbsps red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 2 tsps cumin powder 5-6 kokum petals Chopped fresh coriander as required Method: 1. In a bowl add prawns salt ¼ tsp turmeric powder and mix well. Marinate and set aside for 20-30 minutes. 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic sauté. Add onion and cook till golden brown in colour. 3. Add the potatoes and sauté for a minute. Add the tomatoes green chillies salt and cook till pulpy. 4. Add the red chilli powder cumin powder coriander powder and the remaining turmeric powder. Add kokum and mix well. Add ½ cup of water and cook till the potatoes are almost done. 5. Add the marinated prawns sauté for a minute. Add the coriander leaves and cook for 4-5 minutes. 6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. KADAI PRAWNS MASALA Ingredients: 1½ cups medium prawns peeled and deveined 3 tbsps butter 1 tsp oil ½ tsp cumin seeds 2 medium onions chopped 1 large tomato chopped Salt to taste ½ tsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp coriander powder ¼ tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala ¼ cup chopped fresh coriander 1 tbsp tomato ketchup 1 tbsp lemon juice ½ tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) Coriander sprig for garnish Method: 1. Heat butter and oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds let them crackle. Add the onion sauté till golden brown. 2. Add tomatoes mix well. Add salt and sauté. Cook till the tomatoes are pulpy. 3. Add red chilli powder coriander powder turmeric powder pav bhaji masala coriander sauté well. 4. Add tomato ketchup and mix well. Add the prawns and sauté. Cook for 6-8 minutes on high heat stirring occasionally. 5. Add lemon juice and dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) Cook for a minute. 6. Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
