Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar are one of that rocking on-screen couple of Bollywood who have given hits like Namaste London, Welcome, Singh is King and are now back again for yet another film. According to sources, Rohit Shetty has roped in Katrina Kaif too for his upcoming Police film series 'Sooryavanshi'. This was declared by Akki and Karan Johar himself on their respective social media accounts. Akshay tweeted saying - "Welcome to our cop universe Katrina Kaif.. Our 'Sooryavanshi' girl". While KJo who is investor to this film, shared a picture of himself which is accompanied by Akshay, rohit Shetty and Katrina Kaif too. He captioned this image as - "Welcoming the Sooryavanshi girl on board Katrina Kaif! Releasing on Eid 2020!". In this film Akshay will be playing the lead role of the Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) Inspector, which was shown as a cameo in Rohit Shetty's last film 'Simmba'.
