RICE PAKORA
Ingredients
1 cup cooked rice
½ cup gram flour
Oil for deep-frying
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon coriander powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Method
1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2. Combine rice, onion, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garlic, green chillies, chopped coriander and salt in a bowl and mix. Add gram flour and some water and mix well.
3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and deep-fry them in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot.
Preparation Time:5-8 minutes
Cooking Time:15-18 minutes
