Deepika Padukone one of the highest paid celebrities of Bollywood, rejected a film. She recently went for a book launch event and revealed some instances of her filmy career. She told us about an incident where she rejected a film due to the fees she was being offered compared to that of her co-star. She said for that film, me having the same role and same impact was offered less amount to that of the co-actor and hence I let go off that film. Padukone says that the co-star at that time, wasn't working well and his films weren't doing great either. Deepika says she knows her importance and worth in the Bollywood industry. So, accepting any less amount even though my character in the film is important and huge like the co-star is not right. The actress also said she is not someone who can work with any sort of partiality in the cinema industry. Ranveer Singh's wife also mentioned that if she let's any such indifference in her life, she will not be able to sleep well at night. We are definitely in for Deepika's stand and wish her well.
