When you are bored of your regular flat-breads you can try this masaledaar Besan ki Roti with some yogurt and pickle! BESAN KI MASALA ROTI Ingredients ½ cup gram flour (besan) 1 cup whole wheat flour ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder ½ tsp dried mango powder (amchur) 2 green chillies chopped Salt to taste 1 tbsp oil Ghee as required Yogurt to serve Pickle to serve Method 1. In a parat add whole wheat flour besan turmeric powder red chilli powder coriander powder cumin powder dried mango powder green chillies salt and sufficient water. Knead to soft dough and add oil knead again. 2. Cover with a damp muslin cloth set aside for 10-15 minutes. 3. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls dust a little flour on the worktop and flatten a portion of the ball roll it into a thin roti. 4. Heat a non-stick tawa place the roti and cook for 2 minutes on both sides and apply ghee on top. 5. Serve hot with yogurt and pickle. FOODFOOD is now in the USA on DISH Network at Channel No 713.
