Masala Soya Chaap | रेस्टोरेंट स्टाइल में बनाएं मसाला सोया चाप | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana
Filled with rustic spices and authentic flavours this Masala Soya Chaap is a clear superstar at every meal.
MASALA SOYA CHAAP
Ingredients
3-4 soya chaaps cut into 1-inch pieces
2 tbsps oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 medium onions finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 medium tomatoes finely chopped
½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
¼ cup fresh tomato puree
Salt to taste
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
2 tbsps cashew nut paste + for garnish
¼ tsp dried fenugreek leaves powder
Parantha to serve
Pickle to serve
Method
1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick shallow pan. Add the soya chaap pieces and sauté till golden brown.
2. Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Add onions and sauté till golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add 2 tbsps water mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
4. Add tomatoes and mix well. Add red chilli powder turmeric powder coriander powder cumin powder tomato puree and mix well.
5. Add salt mix well cover and cook till soft and pulpy. Add the soya chaaps and 1 tbsp coriander leaves and mix well.
6. Add ¼ cup water and mix. Add cashew nut paste and mix well.
7. Add remaining coriander leaves dried fenugreek leaves powder and mix well. Transfer in a serving bowl garnish with coriander sprigs and coriander sprigs. Serve hot with parantha and pickle of your choice.
