DATE AND NUTSMILLE FEUILLE
Ingredients
1 cup dates, deseeded and chopped
8-10 walnuts, finely chopped
8-10 cashewnuts
10-12 pistachios
Wonton sheets as required
¼ cup melted butter + for greasing and applying
2-3 tablespoons honey + for drizzling
3 tablespoons fresh cream
Toasted sesame seeds as required
Method
1. Preheat oven at 180ºC. Grease a baking tray with some butter.
2. Heat dates in a non-stick pan. Add ¼ cup water, honey and cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes or till soft.
3. Cut the wonton sheets into 1½ inch rectangles.
4. Place 4 sheets onto a greased baking tray. Apply some butter and place a wonton sheets on top and repeat the process for5-6 layers.
5. Lightly mash the cooked dates and transfer into a bowl. Add cream, mix and set aside to cool.
6. Put some sesame seeds on top of layered sheets. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
7. Chop cashewnuts and pistachios, add ¾ to date mixture alongwith walnuts and mix well. Add some water and mix well.
8. Fill a piping bag with the date mixture, pipe over 2 baked layered wonton sheets and cover with remaining sheets.
9. Place prepared Mille Feuille onto a serving platter. Drizzle some honey and put remaining nuts on top and serve immediately.

Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes
