Film Mission Mangal which marks the achievement of ISRO's Mars Orbitor mission and its journey was actually completely shot in Mumbai's film city. The director Jagan Shakti and production designer Sandeep Sharad Ravade revelaed that the entire set was made in the Film City itself. While the director had made one visit to IsRO, Sandeep couldn't. And so the entire set was designed based on Google and assumptions. While the exact lenght and diameter of Rocket and Satellite's couldn't be done, the VFX and technicians have depicted it in such a way that it looks real. This film stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee PAnnu, Sharman Joshi, Nithy MEnen, Sonakshi Sonha and Kriti Kulhari and is slated to release on Independence Day of 2019 - 15th August.
