CHAPAT
Ingredients
1� cups refined flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
� cup castor sugar
1 tablespoon semolina
1 tablespoon ghee + for greasing and basting
1� cups milk
6-7 almonds
1 tablespoon chironji
Method
1. Break eggs in a bowl. Add vanilla essence and castor sugar and whisk till sugar melts.
2. Add semolina and sieve in flour and whisk. Add 1 tablespoon ghee and whisk. Add milk and whisk well to make a smooth batter.
3. Finely chop 3-4 almonds and add to batter along with chironji and mix well.
4. Heat a non-stick tawa and grease with some ghee. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread to make a thin disc and roast on both sides till golden specks appear, basting with some ghee. Similarly, repeat the process and prepare with remaining batter.
5. Sliver the remaining almonds.
6. Serve hot garnished with almond slivers.
