Shahid Kapoor's film Kabir Singh also starring Kiara Advani, was a remake of South film Arjun Reddy which had Vijay Devarakonda in the main lead. And shockingly Vijay made a remark for Shahid and his film when asked about the Hindi film. Vijay is currently busy with his upcoming film 'Dear Comrade' and during one such promotional event he was asked that his film's remake Kabir Singh has been very successful, so does he plan on seeing the movie. So Vijay said, It's a remake of his film and his character so Shahid was suppose to see. He knows the story so what is left to see more. There is no discussion about it. Further he said the directed Sandeep Vanga is his closest buddy and so he wanted the Hindi Remake should work as well, but surprisingly it's become a blockbuster. So yea, there's nothing to see in that film. So, Shahid who is usually Humble and appreciative of actors will not be watched by the original character.
