Things had turned sour between Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali when the latter finalised Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for Bajrao Mastani. Apparently, KJo was keen on casting the two for his long stalled film Shhuddhi but Bhansali, without taking his consent, announced the two for his ambitious project. This later paved way to an unending war of words between the two. First, KJo initiated the fight stating, ?There?s no reason for me to speak to him(Bhansali) about Shhuddhi. He didn?t discuss the Bajirao Mastani announcement with me.? In another interview, Johar also said that SLB has gone into a space of ?negativity and darkness?
