Bollywood's period drama film Kalank which was written by Yash Johar was also behind fixing some of the actors of the film and one of them was Sajnay Dutt. Recently, Sanjay Dutt revealed that Yash Johar himself discussed Balraj Chaudary's character with him and he in one of his media interaction said, he knew about this film as Yashji himself spoke to him about this film and it's great that Abhishek Varman is finally making Yash Sir's dream a reality. Further Sanjay added, working with this film feels like working in some home production film due to the strong relations he shares with Johar family and being part of this big a film makes him feel more great. This film is also more special to Sanjay Dutt as his character of the film uses his father's original name which is that of 'Balraj Dutt', so being called Balraj Cahurdary is really dear to him.
