Soft and light dosas or lacy crepe can be had for breakfast lunch or dinner. Just get the batter ready and you are set to create some mouthwatering neer dosas
NEER DOSA
Ingredients
2 cups idli rice
Salt to taste
Oil for greasing
Onion half for greasing
Ghee for drizzling
Coconut chutney to serve
Method
1. Take idli rice in a large bowl add water and wash thoroughly for 2-3 times. Add fresh water and set aside to soak for 6-8 hours. Drain and transfer the rice into a mixer jar.
2. Add 1 cup water and grind to a fine paste. Transfer into a large bowl add 1 cup water and salt and mix till well combined.
3. Heat a non-stick tawa.
4. Dip half an onion in some oil and grease the tawa with it. Drizzle the batter and spread it evenly to make a thin layer. Cover and cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Drizzle ghee and fold the neer dosa in a triangle. Arrange on a serving plate.
5. Serve with coconut chutney.
