PANEER FOXTAIL TIKKI
Ingredients
¼ cup grated paneer
2 medium potatoes boiled and mashed
½ cup fox tail millets boiled
1 medium onion chopped
1½ tsp coriander powder
¾ tsp garam masala powder
½ tsp cumin powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2-3 green chillies chopped
1 -2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
1½ tsp dried mango powder (aamchur powder)
samo flour (vari atta) for coating
Oil for shallow frying
Green chutney for serving
Method
1. Take paneer in a bowl add potatoes fox tail millets onion coriander powder garam masala powder cumin powder turmeric powder red chilli powder salt green chillies coriander and mix well. Add dried mango powder and mix.
2. Divide the mixture into equal portion and shape it into balls and slightly flatted to make a Tikki. Coat each Tikki with samo flour
3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Place the tikki in a hot oil and shallow fry from both sides till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper.
4. Arrange the tikki on a serving plate and serve hot with green chutney
