CHICKEN PAV GRILLED SANDWICH
Ingredients
250 grams boneless chicken breasts
4 pav
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ cup chilli-mayonnaise
½ cup onion marmalade
Butter for brushing
Method
1. Take the chicken breasts on a plate. Add garlic, chilli flakes, salt, crushed peppercorns and olive oil, rub well on both sides and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
2. Heat a non-stick pan. Place the marinated chicken in it and cook till evenly done from both the sides.
3. Slit the pav horizontally without cutting through. Spread some of the chilli-mayonnaise on the base as well as upper portion of the pav.
4. Shred the chicken and place on the base and top with some onion marmalade. Cover with the upper half.
5. Heat a non-stick griller.
6. Brush the prepared sandwich with butter, place on the griller, cover and grill till grill marks appear.
7. Serve hot.
Preparation Time: 10-12 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
