Shahid Kapoor who is prepping for his upcoming film Jersey which is based on the life of a cricketer is often being compared to Ranveer Singh and his awaited new release film 83. Actually, Shahid is again roped in for another South film remake of the same name Jersey after Kabir Singh; and he is leaving no stone un-turned to give his best shot. And for this he is gearing up in to being a cricketer and a batsman which is already being played by Ranveer as Kapil Dev to depict the 1983 World Cup Win of India. On speaking about this comparison, Shahid feels its baseless, as even though both films talk about Cricket they are different. He says he and everyone is eagerly waiting for 83, as it depicts one of the greatest story. And his film is an overall life of a sports person.
