Over the years, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has faced all sorts of discrimination but he has never lashed out at anyone. But recently, he hit out at one of the most prominent filmmakers of Bollywood ��������� Rajkumar Hirani. The reason: Hirani had said that he never imagined Nawazuddin would be a star. Nawazuddin, who featured in a small role in Hirani's first film Munna Bhai MBBS, got back at his former director cheekily saying he also never expected the filmmaker would become so "great". In Munna Bhai MBBS, Nawaz featured in a minor role of a thief who pickpockets Sunil Dutt's character on a railway station and faces the wrath of public on being caught. It was only, after a few years, that Nawazuddin became a huge star with stellar performances and box office hits. A few days ago at a masterclass, Hirani said he never thought Nawazuddin would go on to become a huge star. When asked about it Nawazuddin said he read the statement which he made. Hirani used to be a shy person when he worked with him.
