Coming up with Biopic films and that too of Sportperson is the new trend that Bollywood has adopted and continuing this is Taapsee Pannu who will play Mithali Raj who is Captain to Indian Women's Cricket team. Mithali is not just Indian Captian, but she is the highest run scorer for Women's International Cricket. As per source, Taapsee has agreed for this film and will undergo Cricket training as part of her prep. Things will be finalized as Viacom 18 gets director onboard for the film. The story is in place and now the script is being worked upon. When Taapsee was asked about this news sometime back she said, the script is being made and so it is too early to reveal anything now. But, if they offer her this film she would be happy to do it. And she really wants to do a sports biopic herself.
