NACHOS CRUSTED CHICKEN
Ingredients
1 cup nacho chips
250 grams boneless chicken, cut into 2 inch thin strips
Oil for deep-frying
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
Juice of ¼ lemon
1 teaspoon refined flour
½ egg
Method
1. Heat sufficient oil in a pan.
2. To marinate chicken, take chicken in a bowl. Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, crushed peppercorns, chilli flakes and ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
3. Grind nacho chips coarsely and transfer onto a plate.
4. Add lemon juice to marinated chicken and mix well.
5. Add flour to ground nacho chips and mix well.
6. Break egg in a bowl, whisk well, add to chicken mixture and mix well.
7. Coat marinated chicken with nacho-flour mixture and set aside.
8. Deep-fry the prepared chicken in hot oil heat till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
9. Serve hot with a lemon wedge.

Cooking Time: 5-8 minutes
