Monster Chicken Sliders | Tiny Taste Buds | Recipes for Kids | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana
Nothing about it to be scared of. These monsters are actually sliders that are small adorable burgers.
MONSTER CHICKEN SLIDERS
Ingredients
300 grams chicken mince
4-6 slider buns halved and toasted
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp red chilli flakes
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Salt to taste
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves
2 tbsps boiled green peas
3 tbsps grated carrot
1 egg
Dried breadcrumbs for coating
2 tbsps oil
1 tbsp butter
Tomato ketchup for applying
A few lettuce leaves
1 small English cucumber vertically sliced
1 small onion sliced into roundels
1 small tomato sliced into roundels
Cheese slices cut into desired shape
Pitted green olives as required
Method
1. Take chicken mince in a large bowl. Add dried oregano red chilli flakes crushed black peppercorns salt parsley leaves boiled green peas carrot and mix well.
2. Add the egg and mix till well combined.
3. Take dried breadcrumbs on a plate.
4. Take a small portion of the chicken mixture and shape it into a patty. Coat it well with the breadcrumbs.
5. Heat oil and butter in a non-stick shallow pan. Place the patty on it and cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Flip each patty and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes as well. Drain on an absorbent paper.
6. Apply some tomato ketchup on the base half of the slider bun. Place a few lettuce leaves place the chicken patty arrange a cucumber slice place an onion slice and tomato slice. Arrange a cheese slice. Apply some tomato ketchup on the base of the top half of the slider bun. And place it over the cheese slice to make a slider. Secure it with toothpicks fitted with green olives.
7. Arrange these sliders on a serving plate and serve.
