Mrs. Kohli revealed that other than their family members and close friends only the wedding planner, their stylist and manager was aware about this. They went to an extent that to communicate with their caterers they kept fake names for themselves, like Virat had his name as Rahul. This marriage was kept so secret because Anu wanted a wedding away from the media just with their close people which very much home style. She wanted it as a function where Aushka is getting married to Virat and not one of the big celebrity events. She further added, that due to all of this she feels they had a blessed wedding. Post their wedding they shared their marriage pictures on respective social accounts and ever since are seen on each others accounts frequently.
