KISSING COOKIES
Ingredients
100 grams refined flour (maida)
125 grams butter, room temperature
50 grams icing sugar
50 grams cornflour
Butter cream frosting as required
Strawberry jam as required
Method
Preheat oven at 180° C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Mix together butter, flour, icing sugar and cornflour to make a soft dough.
Divide the dough into equal small portions and place on the lined tray. Flatten them a little with a fork dipped in water.
Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
Apply some butter cream frosting on half the cookies and mixed fruit jam on the remaining. Stick both the cookies together.
Serve.
