GREEN GARLIC CHEELA
Ingredients
10-15 green garlic bulbs
2 green chillies broken
1 cup gram flour (besan)
½ cup sorghum (jowar) flour
½ cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
10-15 green garlic stalks finely chopped
¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Oil for drizzling
Tomato ketchup to serve
Method
1. Put the green garlic bulbs in a blender jar add green chillies and blend to a coarse paste.
2. Take the gram flour in a large bowl add sorghum flour whole wheat flour the blended paste green garlic stalks carom seeds turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
3. Pour 1½ cups water in batches and mix till a lump free batter is formed.
4. Heat a non-stick tawa. Add a ladleful of the batter and lightly spread it to make a disc. Drizzle some oil and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Flip and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes as well.
5. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
