Turmeric Latte Pannacotta | Sugar Free Sundays with Sanjeev Kapoor | Episode 17
TURMERIC LATTE PANNACOTTA WITH SABZA SABAYON
Ingredients
¾ tsp turmeric powder
2 cups milk
2-3 tbsps basil seeds (sabza) soaked in 1 cup water
10-15 black peppercorns
1 cup fresh cream
8 measures Sugar Free Green
½ tsp green cardamom powder
3 tsps powdered China grass
Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
Method
1. Heat a nonstick pan. Add milk turmeric powder black peppercorns fresh cream and mix well.
2. Add 5 measures Sugar Free Green green cardamom powder and mix well. Allow the mixture to boil.
3. Add China grass and mix well till it dissolves. Allow to cool slightly and strain through a strainer.
4. Add remaining Sugar Free Green to soaked sabza and mix well.
5. Transfer the mixture in individual silicon moulds and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
6. Demould drizzle some sabza mixture on top garnish with mint sprigs and serve.
