There have been tons of speculations surrounding Sarabjit Singh?s biopic, which is being directed by Mary Kom director Omung Kumar. The story is based on farmer Sarabjit?s incident, who crossed the India- Pakistan border in an intoxicated state and got mistaken for a spy. As a result, he had to spend 23 years in prison and passed away in captivity. BollywoodLife informed its viewers that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been roped in to play Sarabjit?s sister Dalbir Kaur. The important question however was, who will play the protagonist Sarabjit? There were reports suggesting that Irrfan Khan and Randeep Hooda were being considered for the part. A leading entertainment daily now reports that Randeep has been confirmed for the role.
