AAM PANNA AND PLUM SORBET
Ingredients
4 tbsps aam panna mix
4 plums chopped
½ cup sugar
½ tsp chaat masala
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
Fresh plum slices for garish
Mint sprigs for garish
Method
1. Take aam panna mix and ¼ cup sugar in a jug. Add 500 ml water and mix well.
2. Pour in ice cubes tray and freeze for 6-8 hours.
3. Transfer the chopped plums in a blender jar. Add remaining sugar chaat masala roasted cumin powder and blend to a fine puree.
4. Transfer the puree in a jug and add 500 ml water and mix. Pour in ice cubes tray and freeze for 6-8 hours.
5. Transfer the frozen aam panna ice cubes in a blender and crush. Similarly crush the plum ice cubes.
6. Transfer a portion of plum sorbet in serving glasses and top up with aam panna sorbet. Repeat the process once more.
7. Garnish with plum and mint sprig and serve chilled.
