SOYA GRANULE LASAGNE
Ingredients
1 cup soya granules, soaked and drained
6 readymade lasagne sheets, blanched
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons olive oil
3-4 garlic cloves, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
½ cup tomato ketchup
1 cup white sauce
4-5 fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons crushed red chillies
½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and garlic and chilli flakes and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes, salt and oregano and basil and cook till pulpy. Add tomato ketchup and cook for one more minute.
3. Add soya granules and 1 cup water and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
4. Place 2 lasagne sheets on a baking dish, spread some of the prepared sauce over it, spread some of the cheese. Repeat the above layers once taking care to end with the sauce layer. Spread the grated cheese evenly over the sauce. Place 2 more sheets and spread white sauce, top with remaining cheese
5. Place in the preheated oven and bake for at least 20 minutes
6. Serve hot.
