Bollywood's Student of the year Sidharth Malhotra is listed in one of the talented actors of new generation, revealed the time when he didn't have the money to pay his basic rent.
In one of his recent interview, Sid recalled his struggling phase when he came to Mumbai for the first time from Delhi. He was called by an agency who promised him a film which was never made and kept him waiting for almost 6 months before he could walk out. Malhotra said, newly coming he didn't know anyone nor could he even rent an apartment and so he stayed in their office and managed how much ever could be done. There was a time when he didn't even have the money to buy a complete meal and would only compromise by just buying a simple rice or roti to go by the day.
But, after all his hardships Karan Johar's SOTY happened to him and it gave him a good opening into Bollywood industry and at Box Office.
Sid was recently seen in new release of the week Marjaavaan along with Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria. And now he's busy shooting for upcoming film Shershah which has Kiara Advani in lead role.
