MASALA CHICKEN SWISS ROLL
Ingredients
250 grams boneless chicken, cut into thin strips
8-12 white bread slices
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
¼ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
1½-2 teaspoons coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
Oil for deep-frying
Method
1. Trim off the edges of bread slices and halve.
2. Lightly flatten each bread piece using a rolling pin.
3. Combine chicken, ginger-garlic paste, chopped coriander, coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, salt and garam masala powder in a bowl and mix. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a pan.
5. Place one marinated chicken strip on each flatten bread piece, roll it and insert 2 toothpicks to seal.
6. Deep-fry each prepared chicken rolls in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and discard the toothpicks from fried chicken rolls.
7. Serve hot.
