Marinated chicken in flavourful spices deep fried till perfectly crisp. Nothing can beat this chicken starter till date.
CHICKEN LOLLIPOP
Ingredients
10-12 chicken lollipops
1½ tbsps ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
3 tsps red chilli paste
2 tbsps red chilli sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 egg
1½ tbsps corn starch
1½ tbsps refined flour
Oil for deep frying
Schezwan sauce to serve
Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Method
1. Add chicken in a large bowl add ginger-garlic paste salt white pepper powder red chilli paste red chilli sauce and vinegar. Mix well and set aside to marinate for 20-25 minutes.
2. Break in the egg in the same bowl add corn starch and refined flour and mix well.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai deep fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
4. Transfer on a serving plate garnish with mint leaves and serve hot with schezwan sauce.
