SIMPLE PRAWN CURRY
Ingredients
18-20 medium prawns
3 tbsps oil
2 medium onions
1 inch cinnamon stick
3-4 cloves
7-8 garlic cloves
2 medium tomatoes
½ tsp cumin seeds
20-25 curry leaves
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 cup coconut milk
Salt to taste
Method
1. Heat oil in a non stick pan.
2. Coarsely grind onions cinnamon cloves garlic and tomatoes.
3. Add cumin seeds curry leaves and ground paste to the pan and saute for 2 minutes.
4. Add turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well.
5. Add prawns coconut milk and salt and mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or till the prawns are done.
6. Serve hot.
