BACON WRAPPED ASPARAGUS
Ingredients
12-16 bacon strips
12-16 asparagus
Dijon mustard for brushing
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Dijon mustard as required
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180ĚŠ C.
2. Brush some Dijon mustard on all sides of asparagus. Sprinkle some salt and crushed peppercorns on top.
3. Wrap each prepared asparagus with one bacon strip and place on a baking tray.
4. Put the tray into the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or till the bacon is crisp.
5. Put few drops of Dijon mustard on one side of a serving platter and spread. Place the baked bacon wrapped asparagus on the other side and serve hot.
