FIVE SPICE FISH STIR FRY
Ingredients
1½ tablespoons five-spice powder
2 fish fillets, cut into cubes
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 lemon
1 tablespoon sesame oil
¼ teaspoon chopped ginger
1-2 fresh red chillies, diagonally sliced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
¼ cup chopped spring onion greens
Method
1. Take fish in a bowl. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, lemon juice and 1 tablespoon five-spice powder, mix and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
2. Slice lemon.
3. Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger and red chillies and sauté for 30 seconds. Add marinated fish and toss to mix on high heat.
4. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce and remaining five-spice powder and toss to mix.
5. Switch off heat, add sliced lemon and toss to mix. Add spring onion greens and toss to mix.
6. Serve hot garnished with spring onion greens.
Preparation Time: 35-40 minutes
Cooking Time: 5-8 minutes
