GREEN GARLIC PESTO
Ingredients
2 tbsps roughly chopped green garlic bulbs
2-3 tbsps roughly chopped green garlic stalks
Sea salt to taste
10-15 fresh basil leaves
2 tbsps pine nuts
2-3 tbsps grated parmesan cheese
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil + to drizzle
Boiled pasta as requried
Method
1. Take green garlic bulbs in a mortar. Add green garlic stalks sea salt and crush coarsely with a mortar.
2. Add basil and continue to crush. Add pine nuts and crush.
3. Add parmesan cheese and crush corsely. Add extra virgin olive oil and mix well.
4. Transfer in a serving bowl drizzle extra virgin olive oil and use as required.
5. To serve take boiled pasta in a bowl add prepared pesto sauce and serve.
